Tuxie is still looking for a foster or permanent home!

(7/26/2014; updated 6/21/2015) Tuxie is a large Black & White Tuxedo female rescued from College Avenue Campus in Fall 2013, who is seeking adoption or foster care. Approximately 2 years old now, Tuxie has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and is negative for FIV/Feleuk.

Tuxie has been overcoming her shyness of people and now is very vocal for attention with her foster adult. She loves to be petted on her head and chin, flops down on her side to stretch happily, and is ready for the next step of being fostered or adopted by an adult who is an experienced cat socializer. She would make ideal companion for adult(s) who live in a small apartment so she can race around when she gets the “crazies” and satisfy her great curiosity, but return easily to her safe home base spot.

Tuxie loves wet food, uses her litterbox, and loves to rub her face and body while standing on her tippy-toes. Tuxie would be ideal with an experienced cat-socializer as her next foster person or permanent care-giver.

Prospective adopters will be asked to complete an application form (under contact menu), and sign an adoption contract if the application is approved. Our adoption fee for one cat is $100, or $150 for two cats together. The adoption fee helps cover our veterinary costs.

Please note that potential fosterers will be asked to complete a foster agreement (under contact menu).
